Back to school

Unlike some students from this day and age, I actually enjoy school at most times. School, for me, is like an office. You go there every morning, you do your work and research and you go home. Your pay is an education.

Every morning, I seem to have become more and more annoyed. I hate getting up early. I feel sorry for my mum and dad. Poor them want to stay in bed but they have to take my little brother to school (I walk on my own). I actually wouldn’t mind going to school if it wasn’t so annoying. Every lesson, there is at least 4 idiots running around screaming and partying away without a care in the world. For folk like me, it is annoying because you get less out of the lesson. In year 7, we had 5 lessons, each 1 hour long. Now we have 6 lessons each 50 minutes long. In our lessons, we come from the previous lesson which takes 4-5 minutes. Then, we all have to collect necessary equipment which we are not obliged to bring ourselves (calculators, compasses, scissors etc…) This takes 2 minutes on a quiet day. On a giddy day, which is most, it can take up to 5 minutes to gather equipment. Then, everybody has to settle in another 5 minutes gone. Then we do the starter which takes 10 minutes. Then the register which takes 2 minutes. Then, finally, the lesson. We have 23 minutes to do a 45 minute lesson plan! This really happens! So I get the most out of the lesson (and my book), I take loads and loads of notes. Any knowledge of my own about that topic, I will also write that down.

I don’t want a geek impression to come along here because as soon as I get outside, I am just like the idiots on the inside only worse. I am calm when I am back inside though.

What Inspires Me To Write

Good morning all,

Today I thought I would write about how I get inspiration. It all starts with getting up in the morning. The birds outside are always singing one of their songs. Sometimes they sing a song that I recognize. Does somebody in Manchester teach these birds actual songs? This morning, they were singing If you leave me now by Chicago which I shall try and leave a link for. I was actually amazed at how they could do that song. It wasn’t pitch perfect and no, not all the parts were there but my word, it was good enough to recognize what they were singing. So that was my first inspiration.

Then I go downstairs and look out of the windows to see if anything has changed. If so, I would write about that. Today though, nothing had changed.

So there you are, that is how I write.

Thanks so much for reading.

Something strange in the waters of Sunny Brow Park, Gorton

Today, I was out, on my way to Tesco. For some reason, I decided to walk straight through Sunny Brow Park. This park isn’t a very pleasant park because of its dark water which is stale therefor, has an awful smell. In the past, the Manchester City Council have performed cleaning operations but unfortunately, it continues to fill up with dirt because the water comes from the highlands, straight through Debdale Park, through an old 1800-1940’s cemetery and then into Sunny Brow Park. Of course, it picks up lots of litter and grime on the way. If anything, I avoid this park unless i’m with my friends.

So there I was, walking through and out of the corner of my eye was a medium sized creature. It had lots of silver things that were probably its teeth. It had greeny-bluey skin. It didn’t have fins, it had legs. It seemed to be used to the water and didn’t look as if it was drowning. I was wondering if anybody knows what on Earth this creature is. It looks like the things that come from alien ships.
